My speech

Last week we did our speeches and this is my speech it took a long time to make and was hard. then I took my speech to school I was very nervous when I got to school I heard Mr. Milne call my name I was very scared then I stood up in front of the class my hands were shaking but I had to be brave and face my fears and after I was happy and proud of my self.

  1. Hi Cass, it was great that you used cards for delivering your speech. I loved the way you asked questions to the audience. The topics of possums, Tracker the dog and Rose Parkes were very interesting indeed. Perhaps next time you could slow your voice down and use more eye contact.

  2. Wow Cass.I was very impressed with your commitment bringing the story to your class. I loved how you practiced at home. I LOVED catching a glimpse of your twinkly eyes while you were delivering your speech, but very much wish I caught it much much more. Perhaps we could think of a way/cue to remind ourselves to look around ad drop our cards down...also to s.l.o.w d.o.w.n. cause you really did have amazing content that can only really shine if you bring it to the people with your voice, face, eyes, expressions and hand gestures. Well done for standing up and giving it a good go! Mum
